Covid Update: I have tested Negative for the Covid virus, and I do have the antibodies, so I have had it in the past at some point. Which is great news, however I have 2 fractured ribs and a lung infection :(  I am a trooper though and starting to ship orders today! I have 26 large orders to get out and will be working 16 hours a day to get them out. :) AJ The Candle Chef

I have developed severe Covid 19 symptoms, and went for a test. I will be under self quarantine for 10 days, 15 if positive. And may be submitted for hospital stay if my symptoms worsen.  I will be continuing to make orders and candles, and carefully sanitizing all stations and surfaces and candles before storing to wait out the contagious period for 10 days. Normal contagion period is 5 days but I want to be extra safe and not spread to my customers.  I am sorry for the delay in orders, and realize this couldn't have came at a worse time...

That feeling you get when you make food candles, and there is a crowd in front of your booth staring with their mouths open calling their friends, and buying you out. For a moment time just slowed down in slow motion and had to ask myself is this really happening? Are they really this excited about something I created? My whole life I sold things for other people products I didnt like or didnt believe in. And now to have that kind of reaction, to something that I poured all my energy and love and care and passion into, just...

So Saturday I tripped in the parking lot coming back to my booth at the market and was carrying a window AC unit. We both went tumbling and I landed on the AC unit corner right in my ribs. I cracked 2 ribs. Didn't hurt at first, but I couldn't reach up, or breath heavy so I went to Doc and got the x-ray. Hair line fractures.  Market went great! Thank you Alana for the wonderful pictures, and selling half our inventory! You did such a great job this weekend.  I love our booth, and its ours to decorate, so...
